River Dredging
Bangladesh being a riverine country has eight major and more than thirty branch rivers from the Himalayas. These rivers cross hundreds and thousands of kilometers before entering Bangladesh, carrying an estimated 3 billion tons of suspended materials that settle on our river beds, causing severe siltation. This causes riverbeds to rise, resulting in flood, bank erosion, and drying of riverbeds on the recession of water, causing loss of navigability, agricultural productivity, fishery resources, etc., eventually affecting the country’s environmental balance. Dredging rivers, canals, and other water bodies are the only means of addressing the situation. MJN Dredging Limited primarily focuses on River Dredging, inclusive of Capital Dredging and Maintenance Dredging. With specialized equipment sourced our Cutter Suction Dredgers and workboat units are of the highest quality standard built for extreme performance; not to mention with low fuel consumption and low maintenance needs. Moreover, our workforce holds over 10 years of niche industry experience on average.
Land development and sand filling
Land development is the process of modifying an area for future prospects. The area could be raw or have buildings or any other constructions in it, but the alteration would mean a new foundation overall. The key is to alter the present situation into something better that can benefit our society economically and help it grow infrastructurally. The land is an extremely scarce natural resource in Bangladesh. We need more residential and commercial spaces to accommodate an increasing number of people. As a result, people are buying lands as a future backup which is quite plausible.
