About Us MJN Dredging Limited is one of the leading companies providing Dredging, Reclamation, and Marine construction projects in Bangladesh.

Starting in 2017 MJN dredging limited began its journey with the primary goals to participate in national development

and renovation work, assist in keeping a large number of river channels navigable, and increase the capacity of the drainage system protection against natural calamities every year by dredging round the year. Bangladesh contains over 300 rivers; many of which are heavily silted and have not been dredged for many years. As a result, it causes serious problems such as flood, bank erosion, and drying of riverbeds on the recession of water causing loss of navigability, agricultural productivity, fishery resources, etc. and it also damages the environmental balance in the country. Dredging rivers, canals, and other water bodies are the only means of overcoming the situation and should be the most urgent necessity for the country. Here comes, MJN dredging ltd. With well-established management and technical team. We are confident to undertake dredging projects both in most rivers of Bangladesh and coastal areas. Our expertise and know-how in the dredging field enable us to look forward to a challenging journey. MJN dredging ltd is already a full-service company for valuable contributions toward Bangladesh’s river dredging and excavating needs. As of today, MJN dredging ltd has one 18” cutter suction dredger, one 20” cutter suction dredger, two workboats, and five heavy-duty excavators.

River Dredging

Bangladesh being a riverine country has eight major and more than thirty branch rivers from the Himalayas. These rivers cross hundreds and thousands of kilometers before entering Bangladesh, carrying an estimated 3 billion tons of suspended materials that settle on our river beds, causing severe siltation. This causes riverbeds to rise, resulting in flood, bank erosion, and drying of riverbeds on the recession of water, causing loss of navigability, agricultural productivity, fishery resources, etc., eventually affecting the country’s environmental balance. Dredging rivers, canals, and other water bodies are the only means of addressing the situation. MJN Dredging Limited primarily focuses on River Dredging, inclusive of Capital Dredging and Maintenance Dredging. With specialized equipment sourced our Cutter Suction Dredgers and workboat units are of the highest quality standard built for extreme performance; not to mention with low fuel consumption and low maintenance needs. Moreover, our workforce holds over 10 years of niche industry experience on average.

Land development and sand filling

Land development is the process of modifying an area for future prospects. The area could be raw or have buildings or any other constructions in it, but the alteration would mean a new foundation overall. The key is to alter the present situation into something better that can benefit our society economically and help it grow infrastructurally. The land is an extremely scarce natural resource in Bangladesh. We need more residential and commercial spaces to accommodate an increasing number of people. As a result, people are buying lands as a future backup which is quite plausible.
